Britt Festivals Hires New Volunteer Coordinator (11-9-07)
MEDFORD, OR — Bow Seltzer brings 11 years Front of House experience to the Britt Festivals as the new Volunteer Coordinator. Seltzer workedclosely with paid house staff and volunteers in all three theaters at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival while serving as a full time House Manager.
His top priorities in the position at Britt are to maintain and service current volunteers, recruit/train new volunteers and create volunteer schedules for all shows and/or additional events.
"Without the unselfish service and hours provided by the Britt volunteers…Britt Festivals could not survive the way we all know it," says Seltzer. "I look forward to becoming a member of the Britt Festivals family by working closely with staff and volunteers to make sure Britt continues to serve, entertain and delight the citizens of Southern Oregon and Northern California."

The 2008 Classical Festival was announced November 1 and tickets go on sale to Britt members December 3 with "Early Bird" discounts of $2 off tickets until February 15. Britt's full season schedule will be announced on Wednesday, March 19, 2008. Tickets will be on sale to Britt members from April 1 to May 11, 2008. General public sales begin May 12. The summer-long series is held at the outdoor hillside amphitheater in historic Jacksonville as well as the Lithia Motors Amphitheater in Central Point. It features world-renowned artists in pop, country, folk, blues, jazz, world music and dance.
