The award-winning jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall's career exploded in 1999, when she won a Grammy for Best Jazz Vocal, and her album When I Look In Your Eyes became the first jazz disc to be nominated for Album of the Year in 25 years. Her work since then, including the albums The Look of Love and The Girl in the Other Room, have won her popular and critical acclaim. Krall's latest album, Quiet Nights, was inspired by a trip to Brazil, and is infused with bossa nova rhythms. She says, "It's my love letter to my husband—just an intimate, romantic album."
